The Chancellor’s Scholarship is automatically awarded to students who rank in the top 10% of their graduating class (a 3.5 GPA is used only for high schools that do not rank) and have a 26 composite ACT score. Students are awarded $3,000 for their first year of college and are eligible to renew it for a second year for $1,500 if they maintain a 3.5 or higher and complete 30 credits.
This is a $2,000 scholarship that is renewable for a second year based on adequate progress and participation in the Honors College. ACT score of 24 or higher, and a class rank in the top 25 percent of graduating class (or a GPA of 3.5 or higher for high schools that do not rank). Be accepted into the Honors College by invitation or application by January 30, 2014.
These awards consist of four-year scholarships valued at $10,000. Students selected for this scholarship will receive $2,500 each year for up to four years. Students are eligible to be considered for a scholarship if they are African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Southeast Asian, or Hispanic American; are a citizen, national or legal permanent resident of the United States; have attained a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted); will be enrolling for the first time at UW-Stout as a full-time, degree-seeking, first-year student in fall 2014; and have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service.
